Default Post a Pic of Your '75-'81 B-Body Cars" thread. lol

Here's a few of mine. '79 Bonne, everyday driver w/301 and 2bbl........
One older one with the skirts and wire hub caps and the othes w/ the rally II's
I'd keep that 301 in there as long as it's runn'n fine especially with gas going up.
Back when these things were born it was during the 70's gas crunch.
Hench the 301 2bbl. I know the motor has gotten a bad rep, but only from the performance side. It's a very durable and economical motor. I know mine still going strong
I had a similar leek that was coming from the oil sensor above the oil filter that drove me crazy about 5 winters ago.

That's a nice one you got there Alex. I think you and I should go ahead and start that thread. Probably wouldn't be but a handful of us posting them though....

I don't know what else you guys have done to your 301s or how many miles you have on them, but my GP 301 jumped time @ 87,000 miles or somewhere right around there. It may be in your best interest to do some preventative maintenance and go ahead and change the timing chain and gears if you are near that mileage or past it.
My water pump lasted until last summer @ 102,000 miles. While you've got it off doing the timing chain and gears it would be a good time to swap that also.
