Color is going to be Silvermist with the silver blue interior.

Outside of the tach on the dash, the gauges under the dash, and the shifter the interior is going to be bone stock. The bench seats have been completely restored using original fabrics from SMS. The dash pod has been completely restored by Mr. G's.

I have secured all NOS emblems, grills, rear trim, backup lights, and head light bezels also.

Motor is a Kauffman Dport headed 462 with RARE 2.5" 67 HO manifolds and Comp Cams - 305 305 253 253 .525 .525 110°. The exhaust dumps directly behind both front tires...the thing sounds awesome. I will shoot a video and post that.

Thanks for all the props. It has been a long road.

Kool, Looks great. NOS trim that isn't something you find every day. At least the popmetal parts. (taillights and rear window pieces) I still would like to find some better ones for mine... (Lemans)
Keep us posted. That first cruise will be sweet...
John

If you do keep me in mind. I sent mine off to a chrome guy to polish fix and rechrome. He ground and ground... pretty much ruined them. now they look good from say 50'. ran some used one up on Ebay last week. they were a long way from new... I let them go.
LOL

Car is painted and being buffed as we speak. Pictures to follow. (It looks awesome) Final assembly begins this weekend.

Still need:

Drivers side vent window with good rubber
One NOS Tempest tail light chrome base
Two NOS front driving light lenses (perhaps another car will fit?)

Stay tuned....

Kip

I have NOS lenses. I just need one of the round bases.

there was an NOS drivers side vent window assembly, everything, minus the glass, on Ebay about 2 weeks ago for like $30 bucks, I don't think it sold, i was watching it, but didn't bid on it,I should have though.

Kip, are you using a griffin radiator in the car? if you are interested in molded rad hoses, here's what i used. upper is for a 71 GTO. i cut some length off both ends to make it to the size i needed. the lower is for a 1969 Chevy Pickup, 307 AT with Air. get it from Carquest or NAPA so it should have the spring in it. (some don't) you'll have to cut it down some to. but they fit nice when done! see the pic of my 63 drag project, BTW it will be getting a dual four offy setup after i dial in the rest of the car!
