Default Fuel pump - "early" ?

What's the difference between a "early" and "late" fuel pump for a 70 EEC AC 400? I need a new one and not sure of which mine is... I assume it has smthg to do with the 2 lines out?

I know the fuel lines are different, and I believe it is hoe they are routed in the alt area. Also think there is a difference in angle of fuel line out to carb. Basically has to do with the lines in and out and their position.
