Default Hey Guys, I need a really good exhaust shop.

I am finishing a complete restoration on a car that will need a custom built exhaust system. Its a nut & bolt restoration & it won't be an easy one to build pipes for.

Most of the local exhaust shops near me, are used to just replacement systems. I plan to show the car, & would really like a clean fitting & looking system made up.

I have no problem trialering the car a couple hundred miles or more, from Green Bay to get it done.

Any recomendations?

Thanks

Have you talked to our host about a Pypes system.

I have one and have had many compliments. Installed it myself but it took a bit of tweaking.

Well this car is not a pontiac or that would be a great option. It a Chevy Monza spyder. Nobody makes pipes for the car. Its going to take someone with a lot of time & talent. These cars were designated as throw away cars, so there isn't much made for them.

Theres a shop in Grafton, WI that does nice custom work, the shop is a hole but they do nice work. There about 100 miles from you straight down 43. Ask for Milt a Grafton Muffler. 262-377-5360

You could try asking the restoration shops in your area who they use. They may even have cars in their possession that would allow you to see the finished product.

Im not sure how far you are from the IL border, but theres a guy in town that ONLY does custom exhaust. I had the pleasure of meeting him last week for something on my car. He's a one man shop and deals only with Flowmasters. But if you bring him your mufflers he'll put them on. He does all the custom bending too. I highly recomend him.
