Default 1978 Firebird Motor Mount Brackets

Need some help: I need a set of motor mount brackets with the three holes for a 78 Firebird Trans am.. That mount to the block.

The ones I have must be for a different car as they will not allow the motor to drop down..

Thanks
Charles

Make sure those brackets didn't come from a B body full size car. They look very similar, but are wider that A and F body brackets. been there done that. This may be why the ones he has won't work.

Chris,

The Firebird mounts usually have a "F" stamped in them or part # which I believe is 496892 for RH and 496893 for LH.

Have a friend that will send you the 4 speed hump bracket..
