Default 2024 Good Guys Muscle Car of the Year

While I do know that Good Guys is not really a Muscle Car judging association, and not really 100% sure how their picks are done , I am pretty excited my car was chosen this last weekend as a Muscle Car of the Year finalist.

Not sure I have ever seen them have a Gen 2 T/A in the running before. This was totally unexpected as there were quite a few other really nice muscle cars at the three day event in Puyallup Washington. Pretty honored to have been picked.

Congrats! Beautiful TA!

I took my 70 TA to Good Guys in Del Mar, CA this year and it was the only 70-74 there (on Sunday anyway)

They did a photo shoot of it, but that one with the Good Guys logo on it is the only one posted so far.

Default Congrats.

I have been to quite a few Good Guys in Texas. Have never seen them pic a stock restored Pontiac. I am still wondering how they Judge the cars. Great accomplishment at a Good Guys. They are always packed with very nice cars.

I'm not sure how they judge them either. The process is though they pick 12 cars for the year from all their events. Once picked they do a full photo shoot and I completed a tech sheet with all the info on the car. From there they will create an article on the car with the info and pics to be used in their magazine and/or website.

Prior to the final event in Scottsdale in November they get together and choose the Muscle Car of the Year. Muscle Car of the Year then goes to Scottsdale for the final event and award. The award includes a large Snap On roller with your car screen printed on it and a bunch of that snap together garage flooring that also has your car on it.

At this point I just have my fingers crossed and am waiting.
