Default front sway bar

My original sway bar is slightly bent from.me using it as a tow spot. I want to.replace it and got one off a 78 formula same diameter but not sure if 100% same. My other 70 esprit 400 has a7/8 front sway bar. My 78 w72 has a 1 1/4 front sway bar. I found a 1 from a 70 formula and its 1 1/4 diameter so I'm confused. What's correct for a 70 auto ra3 formula 1 1/8 or 1 1/4? and is it a 1 year only or all the same? Thank you in advance.
