I ordered a set of these today for my TA. Price went up a little to $849.95 but I still feel they are a great deal.
Getting excited! Now I need to pick turbos and wastegates

Anyone try these on a 64-67 abody? Very enticing...

Flow wise to me they don’t look any better then factory log style types, in fact looking at them again the read most tube is more restricted.

1) They have a larger flow area vs factory type manifolds.
2) The exhaust PULSES are like marbles moving down a tube therefore the flow with a turbo thru those runners will just be restricted as soon as it enters the turbine portion of the Turbos anyway. 3) I have done a lot of actual dyno testing over the 40 years in my job and have to say I disagree with you on your post. Cannot disagree that the flow area might be different vs individual runners but we are talking feeding turbos, not NA header Tech. Tom V.

They do make the logs in a higher flowing 3” version. They had a set on the shelf they offered to me when I ordered. I chose to stick with the 2 1/2” logs because I’ve seen them fit on a 2nd gen and I didn’t want to chance a hassle with clearance issues.

3' would be over kill. If you ask me you made the right choice. I had the 2.5" log on mine and changed it to a 2 1/4' with no change in power .. I changed to the smaller size because i have a A body style car and there is hardly any room to fit anything bigger in there . I was actually crushing the log into the frame after awhile . lol

Thanks Charlie66 for the info, for others. You are the guy who runs 40 psi of boost occasionally, Right?
And 30 psi quite often on your Pontiac 4 cylinder street racer? With EFI. Tom V.

At those higher psi levels o-rings are a must . But i just wanted to let everyone know that 2.5" logs are more then enough ..

I’d like to add power steering to my 70 TA. Has anyone run these turbo manifolds with the CVF Racing serpentine power steering/alternator combo?
Eyeballing it in pictures it seems like it may fit but I’d really like to know for sure before ordering everything. https://www.cvfracing.com/black-pont...ic-water-pump/

That looks like a nice kit. By the looks of it though you will probably have to reroute the drivers V-band to make it work .. Maybe come down and around the pump if there is room?

Power steering would be great but I have a feeling it may not be possible with these log manifolds without going to a mini/remote reservoir type PS deal.

Looks like you would need a 90 degree bend down and the exhaust pipe may be against the back of the ps pump. Could try the link below, or have CVF make it happen.

R 70 Judge were you ever able to put these turbo manifolds to use?
I was curious to see if anyone has some feedback on how these fit in a stock chassis and if there is interference with accessories etc. |

I have a few pictures of the remote pump setup. As you can see there’s ample room for routing piping with how it’s set up. It may be a while before I do the turbo conversion. I’d like to add a Tremec Magnum 6 speed first and that’s a pricey upgrade. My TA was originally a M21 4 speed so I’d like to get a stick back in it.
