I have a 73 Formula 400 I inherited from my uncle. When I got it, there was a space saver spare in the trunk. I recently learned that my car didn't come with a space saver, so I plan to list it for sale. My question is, is there a way to identify the year or origin of the space saver? I don't know what it's originally out of, and I want to list it correctly.
Thanks, Importsmasher

Do you have a picture of the stamped letters/numbers around the valve stem?
Going by the label and extra valve, I want to say '77/'78 UA rim.

77 would have L7CU.....F78 x 14... stenciled on tread.......78 would be L9CU...G78 14......Prolly due to the wider wheels with WS6 package.
70-75 space saver wheels were painted gray...IIRC |

Probably others too. Fairly common rim.
