Been following this project from the start. Love the steady progress and the QUALITY of every small aspect of the build. From the super cool engine, to the houndstooth interior, to the subframe and chassis, now the body and paint. Even the emblems. Car to be very proud of. Omega is a handsome car. With Pontiac power, even cooler.

One thing you may want to consider is blacking out the A pillars where the windshield will mount.

My T/A has the white body color glinting thru the windshield between the inside pad and mounting seal

Hmm, didn’t think about this. But would be for sure unhappy when I finally see it!

Thank you very much for that advice!!

We finally did it!

The Pontiac ohc6 with the Holley Sniper is running but due to the winter weather we have just a small move on the shop floor!

Hello, BMFH Here, Again Finally.

When in the Air Force, I was at my Vehicle Tech School, we were in the Engine Troubleshooting Section of the Training, the Instructors would Bug the Engines and we would troubleshoot them the next day, there was one guy that was really sharp on troubleshooting, the Instructors wanted to get him to fail in troubleshooting, so they took the Camshaft and re- positioned it 180 Degrees out of Time with the Crank, when he got the Engine he was troubleshooting it, While it was Cranking over he noticed that the #6 valves were working like the #1 valves should be working, so, he rearranged the Spark plug wires so that he timed it on #6 Cranked it and VA-ROOM it started right Up, and Ran Just like it Should, The Instructors were FLABBERGASTED, to say the Least.

Those were Great Times and Fun, I was Only 19

Default back to post # 58

Hi Karl
Your OLDS is looking "killer" = great work ; and Thank you for All of your Great PICTURES.

So, look back to post # 58 - your build sheet :

Look right at the "center of u'r "sheet" = you can read :

L 22 , 250cid engine.

I have the " L22 , 250ci engine in my 69 Nova" ; and for 1969 , it was an "option
engine up-grade" , for 69 (the 230ci engine , being the standard engine in 69) .
I do think by 1973 , the standard L 6 motor could have been the 250 engine.

So your Omega = was born with the L22 - 250cid , L 6 engine - stock.

Just not real sure , you knew that. I sure hope that your Omega is going good,
and , Have a Great 2025 , later ,

jim

Thx Jim.

Yes the Omega came with a 250ci inline6, unfortunately or luckily the engine block was crap and I had to find a replacement which was the Pontiac 230ci ohc6 sprint engine
