Suspect those NOS black Rally II centers are a nice nest egg, stickers depend on how were stored.

X100 on this coming from a 69 GTO owner. The car itself is incredible, add in the NOS parts and it's mind blowing. FANTASTIC thread, keep it coming

Oh yeah, here is couple more but the last ones as I feel this thread is past it's expiration date.

In other news i sourced a cheap pair of temporary 14" tires, greased and checked the front end, replaced the front brakes and checked all the brake lines., changed the plugs and wires and did a tune up to specs. Tagged and insured it so pretty close to getting it on the road for a bit. Now if I can only get the mouse pee stench out.

Probably need to throw this to adds a build thread.....?

There’s a lot of products that take out stench....

I use ZEP products where I work. They sell an aerosol cleaner called Powerhouse. That stuff is awesome. It’s a dirt and grease remover/cleaner. I found another use for it. Sometimes at my old job, in the winter, we’d find a dead mouse somewhere......by the smell. Well, even a thorough cleaning of the floor seldom did the trick. I would saturate the floor with Powerhouse, lay 2-3 paper towels, soak them with Powerhouse, then lay 2-3 more dry paper towels on top, let it set fora few days.....

No such thing as an expiration date on a thread as cool as this one. The back story, the car, the parts, all mind-blowing. Keep the posts coming, please! Another shout out for Zep products...have been using them for over 40 years and every product of theirs I've used exceeded expectations. Great outfit.

Thanks guys for the Zep tip. I'll try anything at this point. Good thing is the mice did no other damage. This was due to the car being in a barn on an actual farm with sheep. The barn was full of sheep sheering so the mice didn't have to do any work for bedding other than stuff the car full of it.

I also used Zep in my shop to get rid of the dead mouse smell. I forget what it is but the stuff I used was orange.

Please continue this thread as many are fascinated by your car and parts. Mods can move it to Judge section if they feel needed. This one crosses boundaries as I think most are interested, so I can see it as Lobby fodder also. Don't stop darn it!

Well, ok... So as far as moving it to the Judge folder....

I have a lot going on right now but plan to get a PHS at some point. There is no doubt it is a Ram Air car with the matching numbers motor but I question the Judge provenance. As the pictures tell, it has worn Judge clothing as far back as the late '70s when I fist saw it.

However, It has an original OEM Judge wing but it is a hard top, not a convertible spoiler. Also, it has a power antenna. So we will have to see. Either way I'm fine with it.

About 1984 I was working as a mechanic in a large chain tire shop in San Francisco. I was 23, and at the time had 2 '66 GTO's, a '65 GTO, and a '67 GTO convertible. Still have the '65 and '67. Anyway, one day a hippie came in, driving a beat-down '69 Judge convertible. It was the dark blue color, blue interior, orange stripes, 4 speed, Ram Air III. The car had no rust, being a Bay Area car, but it was banged up on every corner. The paint was faded and the exhaust was hanging by hanger wire and leaking. A real roach, but it drove fine. I offered the guy $3500 (which I didn't have) on the spot for the car when he came to pick it up, and he looked at me and said "Son, it would take ten grand to get this car. They only made 108 Judge Convertibles in '69." So he drove off and I never saw the car again. But, being that even back then, the owner knew the rarity/value, my bet is that it is restored and still around. Anybody here have a blue '69 Judge convertible that came out of San Francisco? I agree with the others...I am a first-gen GTO guy, never had one newer than a '67, but EVERYBODY on this forum loves The Judge!! Keep the goodies coming, real Judge or not.

Got some miles on the car this weekend. After a thorough going over and tune up it's really running good. First trip out found the radiator leaking. It's all rotted out on the bottom so I threw in another one I had. Next trip out radiator was holding but I could hear a whinning noise now which ended up being the water pump. It appears to have the factory 4" 351 pump which I didn't have. I did find a later pump and correct pulley so back on the road. I'll get one of those AMES factory correct pumps later. Ride wasn't great so took a look at the shocks and they are still the original spiral shocks so that's next.

Oh, ZEP guys, bought some ZEP (can't recall which one, odor something) and that seems to have really made an improvement. At least there are so many different smells in there now the mouse odor doesn't stand out. Good tip guys.

Awesome.

Already driving it!

Spend a lot of time driving it and as little time as possible working on it.

That is a more than awesome find. Especially with all of the parts too. And Baltimore Built too. Can't get any better than that.

Hopefully we'll see you with it down here in Delaware some day at a Cruise Night in Delaware City. Maybe this coming August 22nd for our St. Jude's Benefit.
