Default Power vent window regulator gear 1967 GP

Need the internal gear for 1967 GP Power vent window regulator, all other internals ok.

Motor is good, dont know if the regulators interchange with another year.

Pictures attached.

Prefer to buy just the one unit. I am sure the gear is the same for both sides, will take either side.

Thanks,

Mike Pemberton

Default Rights and lefts

Thanks for the lead.

Steve P also passed on the info.

Was on the way out to take my wife for some tests and got the phone #.

When I called them from the car I found out that there are rts and lfts and did not have the information to order one. Will call them on Wed. $59.95 plus shipping. Cheap fix for me at this time.

Thanks for the heads up on the difference, I really appreciate it.

Thanks again,

You too Steve

Mike,

Buy both of them. I'm sure that the other one will need to be replaced in a short time.

Default Thanks for the offer?

Thank you for responding, looks like if I had wanted them, they sold 15 minutes after you posted them?

I did buy the new ones at a cost of $137.00 delivered, $30.00 plus shipping would have been better.

Good luck with your purchase Gentile3.

Mike

Default mike,

i wasnt trying to steal them from you, if you want them by all means be my guest... i was under the impression you were just looking for gears not the actual motors. please let me know if you want them, as i dont want the seller to get the short end of the stick!

as steve p said, every set of motors i have came across needed the gears replaced.

sorry

sam

Default No short stick here

Sam,

If I sounded disappointed, sure.

No biggie.

Installed my new gears tonight and after seeing the quality of their product and not having to worry about using used parts, assembling all into a freshly painted car and the have to remove them some time down the road with a failure was way worth the investment.

I highly recommed the vendor as to customer service, prompt delivery and superior machine work. The price could have been better, but as I said before--the hassle factor has been removed permanently.

So no worries about the parts and zero worries because I missed the units. They are only parts and not worth any stress to anyone, little alone you, cause I'm fine.

Mike,

Since those gears are always trouble spot, it is a small price to pay to know that you only have to do this once.

Default Once is enough

Steve,

As much time as I have in the car now it probabaly wouldn't make much difference, it's the fustration level that is reduces.

This is supposed to fun?

I am sure when it's all done I will be able to look back and laugh?

How about some moral support here?

Actually waitng for a batch of parts from PY right now so I have a a few days off my schedule. They only filled half my order and the body shop is behind a little bit, which is ok cause I'm waitng for the parts to get here.

Steve from Indiana P's has some stuff comming as well as Shane Leist off of this site.

That will kick up the pace when it arrives.

Inside body, fender wells, undercarriage and trunk base all done on Friday.

Supposed to shoot the base black on Mon and Gold on tues. Frame back to them for re assemble on the 30th.

I will keep you posted, haven't had them burn a fresh CD on the progress pic's to get me caught up with those. Will get one on the 30th when I take in the frame.

Later,

Mike

Mike,

Just remember that you have undertaken a very unique and important project which must be done properly. You are moving along pretty well from the way I see it. Yes, it can be frustrating at times, but just wait until it's done. Then you will know without a doubt that all this nonsense was worth it!

How many people can say that they have one of the Hurst 67 GP convs??
