A question about the DVD Daytona Race.
Does it show the NASCAR Trans Am Pace Car? Thanks, George

Which year? I bought 82 & 83. Its probably there but the video quality is poor.

But I would love to see some video of the '83 Pace Car more. When you say bad, you can make out the cars, right? George

I'll have a look at the 83 video again to see if they show the pace car. The video looks like an old VHS tape copied onto DVD. Its a bit grainy and foggy at times, but sometimes clear as a bell. Although the racing was much more exciting back then, the race brodcasts left a lot to be desired.
Chances are the pace car may only be shown in a long shot pacing the field. If its any good, I may be able to make you a copy. I have a DVD recorder but have yet to try it. |

There was a Burt Reynolds ,movie on this weekend .Stroker Ace . It looked like that era ,there was alot of real Nascar race footage .I only watch it a short while .you might see somthing there...... FYI
