Does anyone know a source for a kickdown switch on a 68 Firebird 400 Automatic? The switch was missing off the car when I began to restore it. I called a few tranny and auto stores with no luck. All advice welcomed.

haven't tried it, but can't you mount a kickdown switch on the pedal like the gto or maybe just use a gto pedal setup instead of the firebird? Are the acceralator pedal setups that different? I have several gto pedals if you post a firebird pedal setup.

Tried using newer style pedals with the switch and didn't have the room to make it fit.
