Man, I LOVE IT!

Looks like a largemouth getting ready to hit on a worm from the front. Rear end ain't too bad. Kinda new GPGT-like, at least in the valence area.

I really like the 'speedports' in the lower front rocker panel. Kinda looks like a Winston Cup 'tuned exhaust'. It's on the wrong end, though.

What's this one gonna run? $40K US? Nice attempt by Pontiac to generate showroom traffic, but I sure ain't gonna buy one. If I want a racer, I'll get a used Z06. THAT thing'll pretty much smoke the tires in ANY gear. Pretty tuff looking, too.

Oh, yeah, maybe try irfanview to downsize them pics a bit, too. Irfanview is a really neat picture manipulation program that's completely 100% free!

I thought we had another forum for the new GTO stuff. Maybe this thread oughta be there, ya think?

Not bad. I really like the recessed Grills and the rear treatment isn't bad.

I say hints of the 2005 GTO.

I agree the recessed grills are really nice. I don't like the box cut outs on the exhaust or the lower portion of the front nose. Oh and not sold on the RICEish wing.

It's getting there.
Now, 1)Ditch the rear wing, or use the Monaro wing. It's lower and form fitting. Far nicer than the current GTO pic's wing.
2) Put the 5 spoke Monaro rims on it. They looked just like Rally II's!!
3) Well, I know, but.... scoops??
4) It would be a whole lot easier to convince the wife that I could use it as a "Family car" if it held three people (kids) in the back.
I hope someone from Pontiac is reading this. They have used several of the suggestions that we have brought up.
Keep up the good work.

I like what they've done with the front....looks great. Dump that rear wing....looks like something they picked up in a jap car wrecking yard and just stuck on...doesn't suit the cars lines at all.

Give it 400 ponies and the rest is small stuff. Lose the wing would be the next idea. It looks dumb and it is hard to clean around it.

Kinda thinkin' a 'ducktail' spoiler would look good, better than the wing that's on there now. Could even go with a version of the first-gen firebird spoiler; a little less tall and it could 'float' over the quarter panels.

You'd still be able to mount the third brake light in it, too.
