My firebird was just painted white. I wanted to put two navy blue stripes along with the hood scoops. Do you think that it will look good?

Something akin to the 1969? That has possibilities. One thing about it, if it's your car it's your canvas. Do whatever you want to make yourself happy. I might suggest some image manipulation application (Photoshop or other) to use a photo of your car and do a mockup on screen. That would give you some idea.
