Default Electric water pump and C&R radiator/fan wiring?

I wasn't if I should post this in Electrical or Heating & Cooling TECH....

On the 461 in my 69 Firebird I'm going to be installing a new C&R radiator/fan combo: https://www.crracing.com/product/che...le-bb-sb-w-toc

...and at the same time I plan on switching to this electric water pump: https://butlerperformance.com/i-2445...tegory:1234740

My question is about how should I go about wiring up the electric water pump to kick on?

I have a fancy Dakota Digital fan controller that now only turns on my dual fans in stages, but keeps the low speed on for a set amount of time after shutdown. I do this because my car has a problem with the temperature going up when turned off, so I'd like the electric water pump to stay running with it.

Should I have the digital fan controller control the water pump too? So like whenever the low-speed fan goes on, the water pump does too? It seems like the best way to go.

I got a DC Controls unit for my old Falcon project. It controlled the fan and the electric water pump, PWM control for both. Not all their controllers can do this, they have a specific unit for this purpose. I also had an over ride switch so could turn the fan and pump on with the engine off - that worked GREAT for cool downs between runs, and even when stuck in traffic while street driving.
