Default 1969 45 cylinder heads

I think these are 400 2 bl heads, very little info that i can find on them. I have seen conflicting info on valve size? are they small valve like 46s? anyone know chamber size? I bough a complete motor, might take it apart, but its so clean in the valley and cylinder heads, that i think its already been gone through. Might just verify on the run stand that its healthy

Jeff I have a set of those I use as a development casting.
They are 1.96” with the normal 30 degree seat, and the exh is 1.66”.

The chambers are about 85 CCs.

Here are the stock intake and exh flow numbers.
.100”—-71.7—43.8
.200”—-133.4—89.9
.300”—-172.2—120.2
.400”—-191.3—149.5
.450”—————156.4
.500”—————161.3
.550”—————166.6

In looking at my notes deeper the 45 casting could be 45 degree intake or 30 degree seat, this being determined by the block code..

The YA coded 400s got the 30 degree seat.

The 1968 #15 head is darn near the same, but only was made with a 30 degree seat.

What’s the block code you have ?
Can you knock a intake valve out of it and post back on what you find?
