Default Global arms and 5662 springs

Here is a picture of the 81 TA with the new Global upper and lowers and the old MOOG 5662 springs I had in the 79 Camaro. 2.5" tire to fender lip 255-60-15. 15 3/16" fender lip to center of wheel. Springs had been in the Camaro for years then out for 3 so may settle a little but don't expect much.
"Stringing" it to get the toe close-hard to do with those rear wheel opening spoilers.

How does it ride with those springs. The easiest way to set toe is with toe plates. You can get the plates with 2 measuring tapes for about $56.

Can you use the 5662 with stock upper and lower control arms? The stance looks great. I know this is an old post but have same question above, how does it ride? Do you recommend this spring as a stock type replacement?

Yes I had them in the Camaro when I autocrossed it. Same pair of springs I used then.

Bought toe plates -lots easier than the double garage bags. and a longacres caster camber gauge.

Awesome - thanks! But to confirm, sounds like the 5662 is more stout than stock (autocross) and not a good stock-type replacement?

yes it is stiffer than the stock 330lb/in spring. Autocrossing and stopping in a turn you get front end dive and that un loads the rear causing some loss of traction. For my driving a stiffer front spring helps better for that as just a bigger sway bar will still dive.
