Pypes exhaust for 70 GTO with RARE manifolds
Just about ready to order exhaust for my 70 GTO. I have the 2 1/2” oversized D port Ram Air manifolds. Looking at our host, PYPES direct, and Summit for the right kit. I like the sound of the Street mufflers on a friend’s T/A with crossover. I believe the correct kit I am looking for is SGA12S. I know I would have to order the head pipes separately and also the exhaust splitters. I have read different things about the fit of the head pipes and the tail pipe. Anyone have personal experience/opinions to share? I would go with the 409 SS instead of the 304 SS as I don’t think corrosion will be an issue for me.
