Default '69, '70 Tilt switch rehab help

I have a tilt column ignition switch all over the bench and the little thingy at the pointer has me confused. Pretty sure it belongs in there someplace...

I've got one or two in a bin at home I can dig out this weekend to look. been a long time since I had one open but I'm thinking it goes in that hole with maybe a spring behind it?

If someone has a switch that could use restoring, I would go through it for the shipping. Sorta a win-win deal.

sorry for the delay...had a primary vehicle emergency that just sucked 2 weeks of my life away.

I KNOW I have a switch down there in the piles but I just spent a half hour looking for that bin full of column parts and can't find it in the mess. I'll try to dig deeper again this weekend, hopefully someone here can hook you up before that.

Here is a 1969 tilt column ignition switch. There should be a hole that the plug fits into, then the spring. See the middle and last pictures.

Thanks for the photos, it does, in fact go into the only through hole that is under a spring.
