He went back and corrected the 455 engine claim. Could be a pretty car with the parchment interior but yeah, pretty rough.

It’s an ultra rare ‘68! ‘Cause it’s a ‘69! 😁

Agreed, Greg!

Def seemed to go cheap compared to other Pontiac muscle nowadays.

The 455 engine is easily worth that.

69 Firebird convert in Missouri at $55K BIN. Expensive, but it's beautiful. I love the Camaro spoiler on these cars. Can someone tell me definitively if the "400-4" sticker on the air cleaner is stock?

Definitely not stock, but they have been around for years.

It is a copy of the stickers Buick used to use on their air cleaners from the factory.

If you're going to take on a car like this it's best to start with a CA non-rusted one.

Those stickers have been the source of a LOT of criticism on this site for years.

The air cleaner itself is wrong, the short snout like that is for 1970 "non-performance" 4 bbl engines (GP or big car 400, 455 non HO etc)

67 Firebird in Pennsylvania at $4K NR. Claims it's a 400 4-speed, but it could be an engine swap. The ad is nothing but engine pics so it's hard to tell what's going on here. Also claims it's yellow, but it looks red? Someone needs to go look at it.

PHS and Body tag pictures tell you what you need to know:

G G = Signet Gold no vinyl top
TR: 269 Black custom vinyl original bench seat car (has buckets right now)
2L = 4 speed
3F = 400

Little to no options on the car, 4 speed, 400 with bench seat. Definitely quick stop light to stop light without a lot of money spent.

Now, likely most original panels and parts gone so not a high dollar car when done.

After seeing all the new pics I'll agree with you... not worth bringing this one back as an investment. There looks to be a lot of rust and when the owner states the car is "complete" I think that means it has an NOM engine and trans and a big pile of junk that goes with it.

71 badly rusted Firebird in Florida at $600 NR. Has a 400 and the nose looks good, but other than that the car is too far gone.

This could be a steal if it is what it claims to be. Low mileage 1980 T/A in Maryland at $12K BIN OBO. The WS6 cars had dog engines, but the cars were award winners for the suspension. This one is a hard top, which is actually rare. A perfect body for a 70-73 T/A clone if the rust was minimal.

You'd have to make the deal in person for sure... 74 GTO at $12K BIN OBO in CA.
