Anyone know if the Springs for 64 Fullsize Pontiac have been reproduced
I know the Hinges are the same as 64-67 GTO but the Springs are probably
different?. My Hinges are in good shape the springs are weak.
Hood will close on its own
Ames shows New Springs available except for 64

I would think '63 springs would be the same. As far as that goes '61/'62 probably the same also.

GP. 8.013- 1959-63 SPRING,hood hinge 540460 1964 P/8 SPRING, hood hinge 9775298 1965 was different also.

Checked my parts book and the 64 GP spring is only 64 P8 and not used on any other hinge at least thru 67.
