Another “what’s it worth”??
A pretty marginal “already repaired and starting to crack again” ‘72 455HO crossover. I don’t have the skills to repair it, and it’s sort of an artform to correctly repair old cast iron. Or am I on crack thinking it’s worth something..???

I had a 71 Crossover in nice shape, 30 years ago, and the buyer said they were rather valuable.
Particularly with the sheetmetal piece. |

The 1972 crossovers are one year only pieces and are valuable.
A good one is easily worth $500 with the shield. I would try getting $200 - $250 for it as is. At this point brazing it might be the best option after drilling a small hole at the end of each crack to prevent the cracks from spreading. Let the future owner deal with that. The brazing (or whatever method) repair wouldn’t be seen after it’s installed.
