Default '69 GP dash replacement

Is it pretty easy to swap dashes on a '69 Grand Prix. I have a '70 assembly manual but can't find it just yet. I'm swapping a mint black dash for the dark green one. the windshield leaked and it's really rust underneath, especially around the fuse box.

Take it one step at a time!---take two thin long bladed screw drivers, insert them into the left and right vents,;there are tabs in there that need to be pulled slightly apart to remove the vent---have a good look with a lite first--there are bolts behind the vents that need to be removed. VERY carefully pry up the long plastic strip just aft of the windsheild---runs full width of the dash about two inches wide--but they get very brittle after 40 years. Remove the console; there is abolt at the extreme lower left and right; several behind the strip noted above, remove trim below streeing wheel, remove lower steering column support strap but do not let column hang on its own weight. Carefully pull the dash to the rear of the car to access wiring/vent linkages etc and disconnect same. Probably easier to remove the steering wheel before you start too. Oh yeah, get some Band - aids---you will need them!! Good Luck; Ben.

Got the dash out with no cuts!! Would've been easier with the winshield out.
