Default Pontiacs at the Petersen

On November 2, 1963 a very special GTO was was ordered out by Jim Wangers. The factory jumped all over the order and it was completed on November 8th. As spec'd out by Jim Wangers, this "red car" was destine for glory as the infamous 1964 Car and Driver Pontiac GTO Test Car.

Join Southern California Pontiac enthusiasts for "Pontiacs at the Petersen" as we cruise to the Petersen Automobile Museum on October 27th to celebrate the 50th Birthday of the Car and Driver GTO Test Car.

Those who drive their "collector car" will be provided FREE Parking and a 2-for-1 museum admission.

All will be treated to a special presentation in the museum's Board Room by Jim Wangers as we celebrate 50 years of this very iconic GTO.

I am meeting with the museum staff this week to finalize all of the details for the cruise-in and presentation.

I am also working on a special "Celebration treat" for attendees...

We Pontiyakers will have a special parking area up on the 3rd floor of the garage.

Remember. "cruise-in" with your old Pontiac (or a collector car) to gain FREE parking and 2-for-1 admission to the Petersen Automotive Museum.

If you don't want to pay for the museum, that is all right. You can still watch Jim Wangers presentation and visit with other Pontiac folk up on the 3rd floor of the garage.
