Hey gang,
We are having a special kind of car show called Art In Motion @ Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. This is going to be a kick-off event for Campus Cruisers by The Edelbrock Family Foundation. Our main goal is to try and get a car club, and/or show, at every university in the country. This is going to be a venue for our young people to enter the automotive industry in many different ways and in whatever capacity they may be interested in .
We have many major sponsors already signed on for this, and we wanted to offer everyone an opportunity to be part of it as well. Christi Edelbrock is our primary contact, but Dr. Karen W. Thomas is heading up this show at Converse. Our date is September 28th,2013. We are looking for some large prizes as well as door prizes, banners, posters,stickers, decals and goodie bag stuff as well as additional media coverage. Any and all are very much appreciated. We are having 125 invitation spots that will get goodie bags. We will have room for more than 125, but only the 125 will be on the center lawn.
This event is a Concorde D’Elegance style of show that will be on the lawn in the center of the college. After the awards are given there is a cruise to the world famous, as seen on "DINERS, DRIVE-INS & DIVES" Beacon Drive-In that is having a party for us and the day ends with a casino night.
A partial list of those that are already on board are Chevrolet Performance, Edelbrock, Jegs, Summit Racing, Royal Purple, SEMA, SAN, Kooks headers and exhaust, Coker Tire, Comp Cams and Magnaflow. We also have contacts from TV and magazines that are going to cover the event.
