Default Procharger aluminum block, coming together!

Here is a picture of the basic rotating assembly and of the new bearing grade camshaft thrust plate.
The rings are a diamond black SS high heat high impact ring set, ¾” groove main bearings and a brand new product, high load rod bearings specifically designed for boosted engines. Of course there is the beautiful CP boost friendly dished piston.
All this is for my MR-1A aluminum block 4" stroke 4.25 bore..... Perfect valentines gift! Lol

Thnks Brian and Tom, can't wait. Honestly I was disapointed in my performance at drag week, sure wasn't the engines fault, mostly driver, I have a Slider clutch from Ron Youngblood, one of his dual 8", should get my 60' back and hold the power. Really hoping I will drive it to drag week and run 9's without issues.

Awesome job on it.

Pistons look to be darn near as heavy as the ones going into my hemi four. What engine speed do you have in mind? Crank have 8 counterweights?

Jack I am not sure of the Crank, Mark at LPI is putting it together. I am hoping 7000 RPM wont be a problem even though I don't plan on spinning it that hard. Also not sure of the weight of the pistons. Mark might jump in here and answer.

Congrats again, on your benchmark at Drag Week this year.

So much effort went into getting a durable package for you to compete properly.
A great deal of that effort came from Mark at Luhn Performance. Many do not know that.

The dedication you showed to getting to where you are today (and at Drag Week) is amazing. If people knew the whole story about that effort.

Good Job! You drove a lot of miles with your GTO this year and did very well.

Tom V.

Rich is the King/iron Man of Drag Week. Irregardless of brand, Rich puts more effort into his car than anyone.
