Just wanted to share with you guys. Went to the track last night. Ran it out once. It was breaking up some on the top. Needs plugs. I haven't changed them in a while, and forgot to take some. Left at 3,400 rpm on 2 step with about 1psi. Still on 10psi down the track. I tried to put 2 more psi in it later, but the track got worse and started spinning the tires down track. Not too bad for 3,800 lbs driving 31 miles each way to the track.

Turns out that I was only making 7-ish to 8psi. Went back to the track today and backed up my run. Checked boost on the way home today in the light. Gonna move my boost gauge closer and replace the blue led's with regular bulbs so that I can see the stupid thing at night. Anyway...

Thanks everybody! The missing boost was caused by a header leak and a missing 1/8" npt plug from the turbine housing where I was testing backpressure. Though I met my build goals I was kinda bummed that I didn't get my 5 this year. I think that it should do it easy with normal boost next year, but I plan on stiffening the car up. As soon as the wheels come up the front sags and unloads the rear I think. I'm planning on a better cage with front bars to tie the subframe in better. Right now I can't leave with any boost. My buddies are wanting me to do a second gear leave th400. I feel that I should be able to leave with a few psi even if I have to use a boost controller to ramp the boost in slower. Idk.
