Hi all,

I am moving over from the Chevy side of the family and have begun the hunt for a full size Pontiac. When I restored my Corvette I was not only able to find the correct GM shop and overhaul manuals, but also a decent replica of the actual Corvette assembly manual. Is it possible to find the same for the big Pontiacs?

Thanks,
-harry

Harry, welcome to PY board. Unfortunately there are no Pontiac big car asm manuals to my knowledge. Pontiac Asm manuals are avail for:

'67 GTO, LeMans, Tempest
'70 GTO, includes GrandPrix, LeMans, & Tempest
'71 GTO, includes GrandPrix, LeMans, & T-37

Ck your board host for these manuals. Along with documenting the way original cars were built by different plants, the asm manuals are invaluable in restoring any high point car

Also rel new are asm manuals for:

'80 TransAm & Firebird
'69 A-body (all encompassing) Have not ck'ed out this latest asm manual, yet. Anyone?

When I bought my GP from Pontywrek he was nice enough to include one with it! Covers several years and models. Very handy indeed!
