Secondary air bleed tubes - Qjet
Talking about the tubes that serve as air bleeds, hanging down into the secondary main well. Seems like these ranged from 0.020" to 0.036" on many factory carbs. How important is air bleed size? Smaller bleeds = leaner rods, and bigger air bleeds = richer rods, or doesn't it work that way?
I'm trying to get a feel for how much these impact the tune. Cliffs book says "0.036" for each and every recipe? |
