Default Question on front bench seat belt guides

I have replaced the upholstery on my front bench seat. There are these (pictured) seat belt guides that I need to install. Does anyone know where they are mounted? Do I need to slit the cover to pass the belt through? Pics would be great. Thank you.

IIRC the fisher body manual has a picture of a seat with the guide. Possibly in the Seat Belt section.
