Does anyone have any pictures of a 17x7 or 17x8 Crager Eliminator 500 on their 64-65 GTO? I would also like to know what tire size you are using.

Thank you,

Thank you,
I 'm running 9"x18" wheels on my 77 TA, front 4 1/4" backspacing and rears are 5 1/4".
My tires are Sumitomo HTR Z II 275/40ZR/18. I'd post a pic but don't know how to do it.

Mudslinger: Good looking ride. Did you try the red PMD caps? I think they would look really good with the red lettering and red striping. Do the Y1 RII's look like they have a blue hue in person or is it a photo illusion?

Thanks guys

Zyman
Looked at the red caps when he purchased the rims, we thought maybe too much red.
We are thinking of painting the gray inserts black. If we do that then I think it would look better with the red caps.
As far as the gray inserts, in the photos they do have a blue tint to them now that you say it, don't notice that in person. I would like the gray to have been a little darker tho.

Alvin
Only drove it a couple miles last week. It drive, rides and handles really nice.
We got QA1 coil overs on all four corners. We are still messing with the ride height.

I've noticed a trend with these tires and people leaving the white lettering facing out.

I'm not a fan of it, reminds me of NASCAR.

blue goats - Have you tried to mount "PMD" center caps to your MHT Bandit rims? I think they look more like a Rally II than the Yearone 17" aluminum rim.

Zyman,

The ralley centers don't fit but the opening is smaller in the wheel so you could fab up something if you really wanted to.

Default 62 Catalina tire/wheel combo

For those interested in an old school approach to tire/wheel combo for 61/62 Cats, I've elected to go with 80s GM truck ralleys (15x7) and mounting 235x70R rear and 225x70R front. No clearance issues. It works.
