Question Wheel & Tire Fitment

I know that this question gets asked a lot on Nova forums but for those of us with 74 Gto’s and Ventura’s I thought I would open up a thread.
I’m looking to move to a 15,16 or 17 inch wheel.
I recently updated the suspension to a Hotchkis and installed coil overs on the front with drop spindles to convert to 4 wheel disc brakes.
The car sits about 1 1/2 inches below stock.
I’m considering
Front
Size: 16'' x 8''
Bolt Circle: 5 x 4.75''
Back Spacing: 4.50''
Offset: 0 mm
Rear
Size: 17'' x 8''
Bolt Circle: 5 x 4.75''
Back Spacing: 4.75''
Offset: +6 mm
I’d love to hear feedback on tire size and stance.

Even though this is a older thread thought I'd give some info on it.
The venturas and GTO's also nova's like a 5 inch back space that is with
a 15x 7or8 inch wide rim, I would emagine bigger wheels would be the same.

What is a rear size rim / tire that is no fuss?
Not interested in the max size just a proven combo that will fit.

Of course, I'd like the biggest size but NOT max size like a 275 drag radial.
