Looking for 63 Lemans/tempest possible trade
I was just wondering if there were any cheaper 63 Lemans/Tempest's out there. I'm not looking for a built car for a ton of money. I don't care about drivetrain at all, infact it doesn't even need one. Maybe a decent body with "ok" interior. Also, wouldn't mind it being decently close to where I live, a couple hours at most, depends on the condition of the car. I live in Bristol, VA 24201.
Or if anyone is interested in Mopars, a trade for a 73 Dart Swinger in great condition, all original, the motor was rebuilt about 200 miles ago by the previous owner, which it was only driven back from their house. This was about an hour away and the car ran great. Slant Six 904 trans 7 1/4 rear (not the greatest but was standard) Interior is in GREAT condition (green) All glass is in excellent condition has almost no rust OR dents The only major spot of rust is in the back which is about 3"x4" or so has an entire patch-panel for that rear quarter that goes with the car. All the chrome Original color of the car (green - not the bright green like the cudas) The only things not original to the car I believe are the tires and the carb. Yes, I have the title Needs a little body work and I mean a little and a fresh coat of paint, this car has a good enough body for whatever color you want. Would make an awesome daily driver with the slant six considering you can't kill them.. ever. Good gas mileage for a classic car around 20-25mpg. I can send pics if your interested. Thanks

FWIW, here's a '62 in Midlothian, TX (not mine)...
http://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/cto/901966596.html Ad erroneously identifies the car as a '61.

63 Lemans/Tempest
I have several project cars, nothing over $2,500.00. Most need major surgery/floors, but would make a good drag car project. Have two convertible Lemans as well. One has complete 4 cyl, 4-barrel, 4 speed. I live approx. 20 miles west of Hickory, NC, which is not too far way from Bristol. Don't have a computer at home right now. If interested in talking further, feel free to call me at (704) 450 - 8932. Thank you.
