Default Endura bumper

Hey guys need to take the my Judge to the frame shop because the drivers side wheel was pushed back years ago before I bought the car. I lived with it since then but i finally decided to fix it. The frame shop asked if i could bring the car back with the nose and valance off so they could make some pulls on it.
I've taken the valance off before but never the nose. It has the hideaways so I was wondering if the whole thing will come off in one piece? When they're done with the straightening am i going to have to do a bunch of realigning to get it to fit again? Any tips before I try to tackle this would greatly appreciated from someone that has done this before! Thanks

Yes, the whole endura bumper with hideaways can be removed as one piece. Just disconnect the vacuum lines to the hideaways and front harness connections to headlights. Remove 4 bolts that attach bumper bracket to frame horns and slide bumper out and away. Make sure bumper is well supported when loosing brackets to frame. Couple of extra hands will be helpful. Good luck.

Can you remove it using the three bolts on each side that bolt the bumper frame to the frame mounts, and leave the frame mounts in place? Might have to remove the inner grills to get to those three, but the four frame bolts can be a real pain to get aligned again, where as the three bolts have very little adjustment you can make.

In all seriousness, your repair shop should want you to supply the Endura and valance so that they can confirm they have the frame horn height correct. These are not easy front ends to fit, and if they finish with the frame horns a bit too low you will never get decent gaps at the doors and rockers, or the bumper.

Frame mounts have to be off to even measure the Datum.
The alignment shop doesn't care about the nose, and honestly I f they haven't installed and adjusted a few, your better off doing it with a friend, which isn't 200 bucks an hour and you can be careful. There is a lot of adjustment on the nose so if frame is correct, AND nose isn't twisted or bent. You should be able to nail it. I had my 68 GTO nose with hidden lights a couple times. Its tedious, but manageable. Have seen a few bend or twisted that were painted on a car that way. Once car was fixed correctly it showed the nose was twisted. Good luck!!
