Don't be surprised if they raise the rates between now and then.

I got a flat on my sprint car/go kart look alike last year, and had it repaired at the tire shop at Norwalk. I got to talk to one of the guys that runs the tire shop and parts store.

Turns out he lives in Attica Ohio, home of Attica Raceway Park. Same dirt track my wife and I go to watch sprint car racing frequently. Because he liked the sprint car/go kart we had a conversation, he told me they also have the golf cart rentals at Norwalk, they're a EZ Go dealership.

I believe his name is Sean.

Unless the track has changed vendors, I believe you can get in contact with them at the info I posted.

Rates are always higher Thursday-Saturday In that area.

Ex: best western is around 100 Wednesday night and jumps to over 200 Thursday-Saturday.

Just camp at the track is what I do

If you stay 30 minutes from Cedar Point, or Norwalk it gets you out of the high rent district. I've stayed in Elyria, Clyde, Willard, and Medina, and stayed a lot cheaper. When I was doing road service, I've stayed in some of the nicest motels in the area for $25 a night, during the winter.

It is true, it's much cheaper to stay at the track, and I've probably stayed at both 50/50 over the years. One problem is the campgrounds sell out, and they put the overflow in the parking lot behind the campground, no shade.

I have stayed at Willard, Ohio many times. Same deal for Tiffin, Ohio and Bellevue Ohio.

Same deal at Bonneville, I was a couple of days early at the town close by, $35 each night.
During Bonneville Speed Week it was $135 each night and this was in 2001. Nothing Changes.

Hope everyone has a great time.

Talking

@Mook, I went for the first time last year and fully realized that I should have been making it a priority since I first heard about it in HPP in the 90's!!
I've never seen so many tri-power setups at a swap! Tons of great cars, parts, racing and even a car corral. The famous ice cream is very nice too and a ridiculous bang for the buck!

I've been going since 1996, and have only not went in 2020, due to covid.

If you're a real Pontiac guy, you have to attend.
