Default '67 vs. '69 GTO Head rests - Difference?

Does anyone know if the '69 GTO headrest rods are straight versus the '67 rods which are curved?

66-67 the posts are located to the rear of the headrest and slide in to brackets on the back of the seat right above the back trim panel. 69 the posts fit in brackets that are on located on the top of the seat.
