Default good upholsterer in Texas; Houston area preferably

I need a competent upholsterer in Texas to take my '63 Catalina bucket seats apart and redo them, and the upper back seat apart and redo it. I have the material and panels from SMS to get it done but the old fellow who used to do this work in my area (Beaumont) is on disability and is no longer doing the work.

I want a good shop and while I would prefer someone close would be willing to drive to Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, where-ever, to get it done right.

Does your “old fellow” have any recommendations? He must know everyone in the business.

There are upholsterers in the area but none with his ability. One of them did the bucket and rear seats I need redone and he botched the job, which is why I am looking for a competent outfit capable of redoing them correctly.

3rd coast custom interiors is one of the best I’ve seen. Located in Spring,TX. They have done the headliners in my last few cars. I usually do the seats myself.

They do all of the work for the shop that I use- I’ve seen some very impressive work come out of there.

Their contact is
