Default Will 1968 lower ball joints work on a 1964

My dads 64 bonneville needs lower ball joints.
I have a new set from a 68 bonneville project sitting on the shelf. Will these work on his car, or do I have to order 64 specific
Thanks.

The parts are not the same by part number. Rare parts lists the 64 part as 10155 and the 68 part as 10168. From the lousy picture the 68 joint looks to have 3 mounting holes. The 64 has a good pic. It clearly has 4 mounting holes.

The taper and small end size are basically the same but the mounting pads as mentioned look to be much different. That makes sense as 65 was a year of big change in the B body Pontiac.
