I envy how straight those quarters look. Plenty of time blocking those babies. Nice paint!

I appreciate the comments. This is the third time I have painted this car blue in it's life. It was originally Burgandy. This time it is the color I was always wanting.

No, I believe it has to stay black, because I like that AND the interior has always been in fine shape.

I agree with Charles.... black. Only reason being that when he gets it back on the road, the stains won't show in the drivers seat from being so happy. LOL

I have to say that if I had opted for the one right next to it with Parchment interior and Blue paint, it would not look so good after 43 years and four kids! Especially the drivers seat as God & I were having those discussions about which one of us was going to actually stop that rocket ship!

Now that all bodywork is done, pulled the body up in the air to get the frame in shape and put engine and tranny back in.

Tigger is waiting for his ride to be finished!

Lookin' good! Sharp color, now it just needs to get that 'some assembly required' thing out of the way.

Parchment would look damn good with that color, but I understand that it'll be a black interior.

I wish my quarters looked that good. Of course mine only got a 'temporary' paint job. I'll pull the whole car apart several years from now to do it right. I gotta enjoy driving it for a while

Rug, you see the last photo he put up with the body off the frame? He gettin ready to install a body lift for that height. He's got to, just so he can find where his head is in the clouds when it's done.

And I don't blame him one bit. That is going to be one "bitchin" GTO when he's finished.
Look out Chevies, Fords, and Mopars.

No, as I said, after four children the black does clean off nicely. Don't ask me how I know.

Only real problem is that now when I go to get into it, I'll need to have some Depend's.
