Default Badger State Chapter POCI Annual Show Sept. 11 in Omro, WI

Our annual Pontiac/Oakland/CMC show will be held at Scott Park in Omro this next Saturday. Scott Park is on the banks of the Fox River, which is a really nice setting for a car show. There are many trees, so you won't have to sit in the sun. We will have many door prizes, music, dash plaques, trophies for the top 20 popular votes, food service by local veterans, and the entry fee is only $5.00.

We will have brief pause at 11:30 am to remember the terrible attack on 9-11-2001. The local veterans will do a brief ceremony and lead us in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Please join us for this fabulous show!

Our show on 9-11 went very well! We had 120 Pontiacs entered, gave trophies to the top 20 vote-getters. We had five drag race cars on display, including our own club member's Glory Days '65 GTO, Rich Antonacci's '63 Tempest War Party, Dave Smith's War Dance '63 Tempest RAV, and a black C/G '66 Tempest with a crossram intake, plus a '67 GTO named Legendary. One club member brought a modern Trans Am that was immaculate!!

Our local military veterans did a ceremony presenting the colors and led us in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.. After the Pledge, the drag race guys started their engines and showed us the sweet sound of PONTIC POWER!

There were so many beautiful cars at our show! The location on the Fox River is absolutely perfect and we were blessed with perfect weather. We have great club members who pitched in to help with the show, making the whole event fun for everyone! .

I will post pictures as soon as I can transfer them from my phone to my desktop.

Join us next year for another great Pontiac event!
