70 judge hood tach wire
Im restoring my 70 now. When I took it apart the hood tach wire went through the fire wall with and just above the fuse block opening. In my assembly manual it shows a grommet for the wire. There isn't even a knock out in the fire wall for the grommet. The hood tach was not dealer installed, but on the PHS and build sheet. Any one else ever seen this?

On my 455HO convertible that has a hood tach, when I disassembled it the hood tach wire came out of the fire wall in the same location as yours. I thought it was odd also but thats where it was. My tach was factory installed also.
