FS 72 455 91 octane street motor and trans
I am selling the running 461 ci motor with a m21 Muncie trans and all the good stuff with it. That includes the flywheel Clutch and bell housing. I'm replacing the entire drive train with a more updated motor and trans. The motor has 520 miles on it since the build. I just decided to go another direction for my 74 GTO.. Asking price is $5800 for the whole setup less distributor, pulley's and carb( it has a edelbrock performer on it that will go with motor) you setup shipping or pickup I'm unable to lift due to back problems. It is for sell locally as well....
1972 Pontiac Code YH motor.. 97954 Nodular Crank L2359NF30 TRW 30 over Bore pistons/Hastings rings Factory reconditioned rods/upgraded rod bolts mild port on 72 7K3 heads with manifolds converted to adjustable valve train compression 9.37 to 1 ratio BOP rear seal no leaks. Flywheel is 10.5 with 10 spline clutch, pressure plate bearing all new Oil pressure from melling oil pump with welded pickup @60 psi warm Crank has been turned 10/10 Summit 2802 cam and lifters Duration 298/303, Lift .466/.488 Comp Cams roller tip 1.65 rockers/fits under factory valve covers Cloyes double roller timing set Trans M21 muncie trans completely rebuilt new gears, bearings and seals with Hurst Competition Plus shifter with all new bushings. Shifts are tight and smooth. The trans was out of a 69 RS/SS 396 Camaro. Can hear motor run not pulling it until I make the sell. The new motor's not quite ready.
