Were the JW rims optioned to the car, as Formulas usually came with 14" JS rims?

This car is still wearing its original from the factory exhaust.

Thanks Keith... I took the holley off the 428 since you were in it and put the original rebuilt (by our own Bill Oxley) quadrajet back on. And it runs much stronger that way.

This car came with 14" rally IIs from the factory... one of my RAIII cars is a factory JW car. You are correct, JW Formulas = RARE.

Non factory installed items on this car include:
JW Wheels
Formula Steering wheel (currently thin, I am restoring an original fatty for it)
Rear spoiler
428HO (soon to be replace with original WT motor)
Floor mats and stereo (I have the original, just need to put it back).

Everything else is on the PHS invoice.

Funny you say that... when I first got it, it had the remnants of a black vinyl top on it. Must have been dealer installed because the PHS invoice and body tag don't show that it should have one. I ripped that sucka off... I really don't like yinyl tops on second gens.

yea, vinyls get the same bad rap as the rear spoiler on the 2nd gens, mine came with the hairpiece so it stays....besides, the vinyls look so "70's era" and you just don't see cars with vinyls anymore...just one more thing that makes it unique.

Agreed, I think the vinyl top looks great on some cars, but not on second gen birds. JMHO
