Looks like longer bolts were substituted at the front fender to core support -- upper with loose washers -- as well.

Just an observation, hope to hear more opinions on this

Here are the label locations on a core I recently purchased. It came out of V.N. built 70 T/A. You can barely make out the EEC label outline in the second pic.

What's the story with this sticker - anybody reproducing it? Was it used on all cars with the charcoal canister?

Looks like they used a couple of '314 and one '201 for the lower center brace.

Interesting that they double washered the top front of the fender -- first time I see that.

Are the long bolts (EL) used at the bottom front fender to core the same as those used on the gusset bracket?

Looks like that EEC decal is available FX627P (Ames)

Lots of variations from assembly manual showing up on this car.

Be careful when you handle and clean your EEC cannister. Mine has grease pencil markings on it.

it appears the "EL" you questioned are the same

I have not purchased the one at Ames before, but was told they were incorrect ??

I just removed the canister, this one has markings as well.

That could be. They don't show a picture. Maybe they'll email me a pic for comparison.

It's probably a Jim Osborn reproduction decal. DT0137.

Here's what the Ames decal looks like, for comparison. Looks like we're referring to different decals.

See SERVICE MANUAL vs. OWNERS MANUAL.
Definately different. Man that irks me.

Are you also looking for the correct tune up decal?

...Your link was to the same decal. I've got that page in my assembly manual. Earlier comment, I believe, was referring to the tune up/emissions decal. Eventually I'll need a couple.
