Poor car. Why do you do that, and then try to sell it? If you do that I guess you like it, but then why sell it?
Me and my 70 need a hug right now. Actually we need that decklid emblem too.

Angry Eww.

I agree. These people shouldn't be allowed to do this to such high prestine cars. I can understand a Cadillac CTS or a Nissan Altima, but NOT a LeMans. I can even see mine shed a tear from the headlights. I understand putting in a factory Hurst Dual-Gate shifter from the '67 & '68 GTO's into them, using a GTO interior kit, a factory original color although not original paint. Wannabe Chip Foose. He knows what he's doing, as well as making a car look good, but this has GOT TO GO. Whoever restored this car should have to drive the Hello Kitty Car <http://www.autoblog.com/2006/07/07/the-ultimate-kei-mitsubishi-i-hello-kitty-princess-kitty-edit/> for such cruelty on OUR cars.

I do like the paint job. Really looks great (the red color). But the purple wasn't too appealing. 22" wheels with that customized system didn't look too good. Chip Foose from Overhaulin makes his cars look nice, as well as not modifing the dash & console too much. That, and why didn't they "PIMP OUT" the engine compartment? Instead of paying over $2500 on those wheels, as well as the $1500 tricked out sound system, these people could have made the car MUCH nicer looking or upgrading the motor or more of a customized hotrod, not a "PIMPmobile". Do agree with kaysersuzuki on saying what he did.

If the right buyer sees it it will sell "better" then a regular ole 70 Lemans of comp quality would sell for.

Thats the sad truth.

We are getting old and this is a new generation. Its good for the hobby. A new market.

There is a USED CAR LOT in Durham, NC that is selling these cars as fast as he can slap the 22's on them.

Talking What DONK means.

What it means: Don't Offer No Kustom ugly wheels on a LeMans or any A-body for that matter. It's OK on an Impala or Bonneville.

well you can get a 71 2dr htp cutlass here and i'd rather see it on a blazer or scout chassis than with a rigged up abortion like that lemans has under it.

i knew better than to open this thread again, the trash can's looking awful full for the second time today as the memory of that car has resurfaced.

He should be put away for life wearing a straight jacket. Some people just do not have any taste or common sense.
