they sold a lot of high performance pontiacs. my dad bought his 68 428HO bonneville there. my 69 carousel red ra4 bird and one of my 70 ra4 ta's came from there among several other rare ones ive still got and had over the years.
Yes, that is the pic I was thinking of. I somehow thought it was B&W. That's even better. Thanks.

"She" doesn't know much about it, but knows the right words?
Someone knew this would light up a phone with endless texts.

Yeah - that's BS X 5.

in 2010, I sold my wife's 12 year old, 80,000 mile Acura for $5,250. To this day, she is convinced that I sold it cheap to spite her - because I don't like money or something. She thought it was worth $12,000 - when it cost somewhere around $14,000 brand new.

I don't buy for a second that any woman (or anybody, for that matter) will accept less than they could get. If she really didn't know anything about trucks, she'd be asking $30,000 for that thing.

Read the ad again. It says Pontiac Ventura, not Ford.

The title says Ford, so does the main ad when you search for it

It's also numbers matching. Deep down, you know that you want it...

Smart marketing. It’s not nearly as ugly as the 73 Fords.

Don't see those every day!

I dunno how solid it is, though. Check out the upper left part of this picture, and just imagine what the floor pans and rear frame rails might look like...

Coincidentally Local autotrader here has a 69 Pontiac Valiant for sale. Looks suspiciously like that old Plymouth that McCloud got chased around in by an old dark tanker truck.

My mother had a comparable year Vega, the only real memory I have of it was that we laid a large black trash back across our laps when it rained because the little rustbucket had rotted out around the windshield before it had reached it's first decade of existence. Even the imports didn't rust that bad back in the day.

My ex-wife had a 77 or 78 Astre wagon. It had hand controls in it for my mother in law who had polio. That one probably would have made a great drag car. It had been garage kept and was pretty straight and solid. She traded it in on a 90' Mustang (4-banger) and we later came across her old car in a junkyard.
