Default speedo

my speedo is about 4-5 mph faster than i am going. is my odometer off as well?

yes, the speedo and the odometer should be off the same percent if all else is working right. Sounds like you need to get a new speedo housing pencil gear with one more tooth than you have now to slow it down a few mph. It's good to err on the side of it reading a little fast for avoiding tickets anyway
