Default Was there an ho option without the sprint option?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-...ZYebpC&vxp=mtr this car has a 4 barrel engine in it no sprint badges. Was a sprint a performance package?

Yes PMD did offer the 4BC engines outside the SPRINT/SPORTS Package in '67 only
I've seen it mainly in Wagons and the '67 Wagon Brochure is the only one that list the engine as an available option.
Not sure if this would apply to a base Tempest/Tempest Custom/LeMans as one would think they would just offer you the sports package?
I think PHS would likely be the only way to confirm.

They likely just added the 4 barrel manifolds as many with the 1 barrel engine have. Or maybe switched out the whole engine. That being said, I'm sure that there are some anomalies out there.

yes, I had the wagon with the 4 barrel engine, I thought that was wagon only deal. It would make the ebaycar a kind of a factory sleeper if the 4 barrel engine is original.

Looks like the correct air cleaner, but the car has 66 buckets, so it has been modified.

It is my understanding also. The 67 Tempest wagon was the only body style one could get the 4BBL "HO" Cammer engine that was not part of the Sprint package. I believe the car in question has been changed from a 1bbl. Post Toastie, Do you know where your wagon is currently? I have the other blue one with 4bbl HO Cammer.

Interesting Car, 2 door sedan, base Tempest, it is probably worth the asking price, be interesting to know if it has the original block or not.

Thumbs up

I just like to keep track of that one, as it is the only other one I am aware of. If he ever wants to sell it, let me know.

Here is mine.
